# Data Deletion

Last updated: November 1, 2026

You can ask Sumora to delete your data at any time. This page explains how to delete your account, disconnect a single platform, or delete data that Sumora received from Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp.

## Delete data from one connected platform

- In Sumora, open **Integrations** and click **Disconnect** next to the account.
- Or remove Sumora on the platform itself: in [Facebook Business Integrations](https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools) (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp), your [Google account permissions](https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions) (Gmail, Business Profile, Search Console, YouTube), or the connected-apps settings in LinkedIn or TikTok.

When an account is disconnected, we delete its access tokens immediately and delete the data we received from it within 30 days.

## Delete your whole account

Email [hi@trysumora.com](mailto:hi@trysumora.com?subject=Data%20deletion%20request) from the address on your Sumora account with the subject “Data deletion request”. If you signed in with Facebook or connected a Meta account, include the name of your business or Page so we can find your records. We will confirm your request, give you a reference number, and delete your account, workspace, connected-account tokens, and the data received from those accounts within 30 days. We keep only what the law requires (for example, invoices).

## Check the status of a request

Reply to our confirmation email or write to [hi@trysumora.com](mailto:hi@trysumora.com) with your reference number, and we will tell you where your request stands.

## If a business using Sumora contacted you

If you are a customer or lead of a business that uses Sumora, that business controls your data. Ask them to delete it, or email us and we will pass your request on and help them complete it.

See our [Privacy Policy](/privacy) for more on how we handle data.
